Capacitor Switching Contactor

The capacitor switching contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is mainly used in power circuits with an AC frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and a rated working voltage up to 690V to put into or cut out low-voltage shunt capacitors for low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment. The contactor is equipped with an inrush current suppression device, which can effectively reduce the impact of closing inrush current on the capacitor and suppress the overvoltage during opening.

● Ambient air temperature: -5℃ to +40℃, with an average value within 24 hours not exceeding +35℃;

● Altitude: not exceeding 2000m;

● Atmospheric conditions: relative air humidity does not exceed 50% at +40℃; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures. The monthly average minimum temperature of the wettest month does not exceed +25℃, and the monthly average maximum relative humidity of that month does not exceed 90%, with condensation on the product caused by temperature changes considered;

● Pollution degree: Grade 3;

● Installation category: Grade 3;

● Installation conditions: the inclination of the installation surface from the vertical does not exceed ±5°;

● Impact and vibration: the product should be installed and used in places without significant shaking, impact, and vibration.
