Controlled Integrated Power Capacitor

The controlled intelligent integrated power capacitor is a new-generation reactive power compensation device for 0.4kV low-voltage distribution networks, designed for high-efficiency energy saving, reduced line loss, and improved power factor and power quality. It consists of an intelligent measurement & control unit, zero-crossing switching circuit, protection unit, and one low-voltage power capacitor (delta or wye type). It replaces traditional automatic reactive power compensation devices composed of discrete components like intelligent controllers, fuses, composite switches/mechanical contactors, thermal relays, low-voltage capacitors, and indicator lights connected by wires in/on the cabinet. This innovation overcomes the bulky structure of traditional devices, enabling the new-generation low-voltage reactive compensation equipment to feature better compensation effect, smaller volume, lower power consumption, lower cost, more cost savings, flexible application, convenient maintenance, longer service life, and higher reliability—meeting the higher requirements of modern smart grids for reactive power compensation.
